I’ve always been nervous in cars, even as a passenger, and because of that I put off learning to drive for over 10 years. I passed my driving test on my first attempt, and I have Alison to thank for that.
Alison was incredibly flexible with lessons and always checked in on what I wanted or needed to focus on. This meant I could build confidence in the areas that made me most anxious, which has set me up not just to pass my test, but to drive confidently and independently afterwards.
She is so approachable and immediately put me at ease. Alison really took the time to understand how I learn best and adapted each lesson to suit me. If you’re someone who struggles with anxiety or you’re neurodivergent, I honestly couldn’t recommend Alison highly enough.

I wasn’t fortunate enough to have Alison as my instructor for very long, but in the time she did teach me she was incredible. She helped me feel far more comfortable and confident behind the wheel and taught me so many useful tips and techniques that made a real difference to my driving.
She even took me to the test centre on our very first lesson to help ease my nerves, which really shows how much she goes above and beyond for her pupils. I couldn’t recommend Alison highly enough.
